Hello my friends! In a time when our hearts are focused on the tragic outcomes of those Santa Anna winds, I realize there is always a space for some music to soothe the soul. As planned, I’m going ahead with my new release “Stranger” in hopes that someone might feel some inspiration in the grooves. I was inspired by a summer of Fitzgerald’s prose and most notably the sideways romance of This Side of Paradise and The Beautiful and the Damned. I ended up reading his catalog and becoming a bit obsessed with his golden age of erudition. Will it ever return? Perhaps there’s a chance of a renaissance when all is said and done in these tempestuous times. I hope you enjoy! @burkesworks @seanspada and @leong.wav join me on this one. @rogerdecabrol gets a huge thx for the gift of a beautiful fretless bass which I have been enjoying over the last few months and is featured.
